Here's Caroline waking up on Christmas morning!
She walked out of her room and discovered the first present Santa had left her... a pony!
It was love!
And we of course loved putting the pony's bow on her head...
and the dog's!
This was the first of several attempts at a mommy/baby portrait. It just didn't work out for us. Oh and in case you're wondering, that's a piece of coral behind my head, not a shrine to french fries as Benjamin suspected.
She may not have been smiling for the camera, but she was still as sweet as pie!

Now moving on to a present from Benjamin's parents!
She showed us everything that came with the purse, one by one.
And as you can see, the gift was a smashing success! Look at that smile!

Here she is enjoying her new magnadoodle that my parents bought her. She drew on that thing all day!
I tried to take a picture of us while she was drawing, but she wouldn't look up from her artwork...
Here I am modeling one of my awesome gifts! In case you're wondering, it's Benjamin's high school mascot and football jersey number. It's a long story, but we both love an old shirt of his similar to this from his high school days but it's getting really old and tattered, so I had my own version made!

Here's Caroline, my mom and Bentley. As you can see, Caroline is still busy on her magnadoodle.
And then she was busy feeling the paint on my shirt with her face. She's so silly! At least she was giving me hugs and kisses at the time too!
