First Bath!

Harrison lost his umbilical cord and was given the all-clear for his very first bath last week. That was great news for us as the sponge baths just weren't cutting it and the little man was getting a little ripe. We were eager to see if he would like his baths as much as Caroline likes hers! Turns out he's a huge fan, and not only did he get clean, but he got very happy. Woo-hoo!!!

So what was Caroline up to? Oh, just taking a nap in the stairwell...

Harrison had his 2 week check up this past Thursday and he's doing very well. He's over 9lbs now, healthy as can be and happy. We're just as happy -- he's a joy! Benjamin, Caroline and I have been having a lot of fun with Harrison and he has fit into our family seamlessly. Granted, we're all exhausted, but it's worth it all!

My mother-in-law, Judy, arrived last night! Woo-hoo! Of course that meant that Benjamin flew back to Guam this morning... BOO!!! But he should only be gone about half a week or so, so I can't complain too much. He'll get back next week just in time to spend a few days with his mom. After Judy leaves, my mom is coming for a week, so I'll be in good company for the next couple of weeks!
