Take a look at what Caroline received in the mail from her JB! Even though she's not smiling in the pictures, she REALLY enjoyed wearing her new little outfit. And it's ridiculously cute on her. That Judy Beth has some talent!

Here's Caroline playing in her playroom this morning in yet another new outfit. This one wasn't handmade by love with JB, but Caroline's grandfather (my dad) picked it out for her in the States. She has just now grown into it and it makes me think of him. :)
After playtime, Caroline, Katy, KRISTINA (can you tell I'm happy she's FINALLY back?!) and I went to the 4th of July festival on base being thrown today, the... 2nd of July. We're a military base people, why the heck aren't we celebrating on the 4th? I'm confused. Oh, Guam! :) Benjamin managed to join us after work, which made the day even more fun.
Anyway, we enjoyed some food, music, military police dog demonstrations and a pony ride. Caroline, unfortunately, enjoyed the pony ride about as much as she enjoyed the carousel ride from the other day. That is to say that she didn't enjoy it all. Not even one little bit. I thought she would be naturally drawn to the pony given that our rambunctious dog is much like a pony in our humble, non-pony-expert opinion. Boy were we wrong! Maybe it was just because she was cranky due to missing her nap time, but she was having none of the pony business. Next year we'll try again and see if time heals all wounds.

All was forgiven once Ben put Caroline's feet in his face. She LOVES that!
We had a good time today and managed to get a couple of interesting videos of the military police dog demonstration. Highlights of the first video include the perpetrator crying "Oh my God" and then "MY KIDNEYS!" along with Caroline pointing out the dogs and clapping for their violent, yet valiant efforts.
