Beach Day!

I'm REALLY tired, so this is going to be a bit of a disjointed entry... sorry!

We had a great time at Haputo Beach today! Haputo Beach is gorgeous and can only be reached after a bit of a hike. So we heard. Today was the first time we explored it and whoever said it was a hike wasn't kidding. Going down was easy enough but going back up after being drained a bit from the beach was excrutiating! I know that Katy and I muttered several choice phrases about the uphill hike, but they can all be summed up by our favorite: "Dying sounds like a better option than finishing this hike." We apparently need to work on our uphill hiking endurance!

The beach!

We came across lots of these crabs! They're about the size of your fist.

Ok, so not a flattering picture of Caroline... but the only one we got of the three of us today!

She was having a ball!

And she loves the sand. She wants to eat it!

So what else have we done recently? Well, Caroline got her first carousel ride!

Unfortunately, she didn't really enjoy it! She had just woken up from a nap and I think it was a little too much stimulation too soon after waking. Oops!

That's pretty much the expression she had the whole time and she started trembling!

In PJ's right before bed!
