A Navy Seahawk helicopter took off from the USS Essex in the Gulf of Thailand yesterday with pallets of food, water, and emergency supplies intended for Burma.

How cool is that?! Benjamin told me that he was filmed flying and landing on his ship, the USS Essex, a couple of days ago and that the footage was being released by the Pentagon to the media. He said he believed NBC in particular would use the footage. I saw the footage of Benjamin flying on the Today show and it looks like newspapers around the world are using a picture from that footage as well! I sent the picture to Benjamin and he confirmed that it's really him co-piloting. :) I'm so glad we all have a picture of him in action now.
